TV personality Gordon Ramsay doesn’t hold back in his new US fly-on-the-wall television series, ‘Hotel Hell’.
British food connaisseur Ramsay will travel the US, holding hoteliers to account for lack of cleanliness, dodgy decor and low standards of service. He will visit the failing hotels, slag them off in typical Ramsay style and give them a makeover with a team of experts.
The growling chef will bare more than just bad service when he exposes his naked bum to the camera as he tests one of the hotel’s showers.
“I do regret one thing [about the series],” Gordon told The Irish Sun. “And that’s getting my ass out in that shower. Because of the sort of secret footage, I had to take a shower like you do in the morning. I know, I’m sorry.”
Gordon said his worst experience in the show was a stain discovery he made on a bedroom duvet in the honeymoon suite.
“The most horrifying thing across the board was the fricking honeymoon suite. It was like a bloody house of horror. I swear to God.
“I just didn’t think it could shoot that far, I’m talking about if you shake a can of coke and open it. I mean shocking. Really shocking. Then I got the hotel owner and every guest in that hotel to come in my room and put a pair of glasses on.”
Gordon said he planned to bring a production of the show to the UK next year but he said that being so famous on this side of the Atlantic could prove difficult.
“I am going to have to wear a mask and go incognito because I think I have a recognisable face,” he said.
The show will be aired in the UK and Ireland on Channel 4.
