Roger Federer failed to secure his eighth Wimbledon Final title earlier today and broke our hearts in the process.

The former world number one was a true sportsman and took the defeat with great dignity.
However one extremely emotional moment was caught on camera as the realisation hit he would not be taking home striking silver urn.
