GENIUS: Aldi Pulls Out All The (Bus) Stops With Latest Offer

This may be the best piece of marketing we've ever seen.

We love Aldi here at Her.ie but their latest venture may just well be the best thing we’ve ever heard.

The supermarket giant has announced that they are going to extend their shuttle bus services to every college in Ireland before the end of this year.

The company ran a trial run of the service at the Institute of Technology in Sligo, initiated by the crew in the Students Union there.

The trial proved to be such a success that they have now announced that they will provide free transport for all students to and from their stores across Ireland by the end of 2015.

“We see students as an important demographic and to that end, decided to look at helping them with their weekly shop by putting on a bus service that brings them to and from their nearest store,” a spokesperson for Aldi told the Sunday Times.

Students at UCD, Trinity, Limerick and DCU can already avail of the service, and it will be rolled out at the Dundalk Institute of Technology by the end of this week.
