Gary Barlow Says The Pantomime Stops Or He’s Done!

X Factor appears to be sliding down a slippery slope so the last thing it needs is a judge walking off but that's exactly what the show is being faced with at the moment.

X Factor judge Gary Barlow has threatened to walk away from the show after what happened on Sunday night.

In case you missed it, Rylan Clark and Carolynne Poole were in the bottom two. And in case you don’t know who they are, Rylan is the Essex boy who can’t really sing and broke down in fantastical style when he got through to the live shows while Carolynne is the country singer who failed to make it last year.

Rylan Clark and Carolynne Poole received the least votes at the weekend.

Anyway, back to the result show on Sunday. When it came to Louis Walsh, who was the last of the judges to vote, he said he wanted to save Carolynne but then changed his mind and said he wanted to send it to deadlock, whereby the public vote decides who goes home.

Since then, photographs have emerged of UTV heavy-weight Richard Holloway having a word in Louis’ ear beforehand prompting rumours that the programme is fixed.

To add to the drama Gary, who stormed off set on Sunday’s live show, called a meeting with the show’s producers last night during which he issued them an ultimatum.

Judge Gary Barlow was so upset that he walked off the show.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Gary is fiercely proud of his reputation and signed up for the show because he wanted to nurture genuine talent. The reason he wanted to be on it was to put a stop to these tricks and to stop insulting the artists and viewers.

“The pantomime some of his fellow judges bring to the show drives him insane and he believes it undermines the credibility of the whole show… He called a dinner for last night and issued an ultimatum – if this ever happens again he is off.”
