Galway finished top of Division 1 in the National Football League this week after running out 1-16 to 2-6 winners over Mayo.
The ladies in maroon and white powered to glory on Sunday and bagged top spot after Dublin overcame Cork 5-13 to 2-7 in one of the most action-packed games of the weekend.
Elsewhere, Kerry had the edge over Monaghan when they secured a 0-16 to 1-11 win, while Tyrone were comprehensive winners over Laois (5-15 to 1-10) in a tough relegation battle that now sees Laois moving to Division 2 for next year.
Speaking of Division 2, Donegal secured an emphatic win over Westmeath, 6-13 to 0-8, while Cavan had the upper hand over Meath (1-13 to 0-4).
The two sides have now finished joint top of the table having won all of their matches and drawn on the head-to-head, 2-10 apiece.
Meanwhile Kildare pulled out all the stops in a 2-19 to 1-12 win over Clare while Armagh handed down an emphatic win over Down, 10-24 to 0-0.
In Division 3, it was a close contest between Tipperary and Longford, with Tipp just grabbing the upper hand, 5-10 to 3-14.
Meanwhile Roscommon had 11 points to spare over Wexford, 2-16 to 2-5 while table toppers Waterford continued their winning ways with a 5-11 to 3-9 win over Leitrim in a very competitive game. Sligo also had a good win over Fermanagh 4-7 to 0-5.
