GAA, Gadgets and Gangsters: The Best of Tonight’s TV

Sunday is known as a day of rest so sit back, relax and enjoy the best of what the small screen has to offer.

It’s not often you come across so many television programmes that you can sit down with your other half and watch together. But low and behold, we have a range of them today.

All Ireland Ladies’ Football Finals – TG4 (11:55am)

Spanning the entire day, TG4 is showing coverage of all three of the Ladies’ Football finals. Before the Senior Final between Kerry and Cork (throw-in at 4:00pm), the Junior and Intermediate Finals are both being shown. Get ready to cheer ladies!

Celebrity Bainisteoir – RTÉ One (6:30pm)

In keeping with our sporting theme today, models Jessica Lawlor and Rozanna Purcell go head-to-head in this evening’s episode of Celebrity Bainisteoir. And our very own Maireid Farrell presents.

Dragon’s Den – BBC Two (9:00pm)

Tonight, a father-of-three tries to impress the dragons with his wooden hut building business while another entrepreneur proposes a gadget that to stop pillows from slipping. We’re going to put it out there and say that that second one sounds like a flier.

What’s Eating Ireland – RTÉ One (9:30pm)

Philip Boucher-Hayes’ investigation looks at the effects of the nation’s diet and the fascination people have with takeaway food. Certainly interesting but it might make you regret what you ordered last night!

We Own the Night – ITV4 (11:00pm)

This crime drama stars Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg as brothers who operate in two very different worlds. One is a respected police officer while the other runs a nightclub which is popular among gangsters. Definitely worth a watch.
