The world has been coaxed into buying organic produce with the idea that it is better for us but a new study has proven that this is not the case.

Organic fruit and vegetables do not provide an obvious health benefit
Crystal Smith-Spangler, a researcher who carried out the study said: “People choose to buy organic foods for many different reasons. One of them is perceived health benefits.
Crystal and her colleagues reviewed hundreds of studies comparing organic to non-organic foods and came to the conclusion that they both provide the same nutritional benefits.
The team of researchers found that there is slightly more phosphorus in organic vegetables while organic milk and chicken contains slightly more omega 3 fatty acids.
