We’ve written about cat cafés before in Japan, so we were pretty excited to hear about this one that’s opened in the US!
PurinaOne have partnered with the North Shore Animal League to open the first pop up Cat Café in New York.
Open from the 24th to the 27th at 168 Bowery in Manhattan, cat lovers can have a delicious cup of coffee along with cuddles from their feline companions.
All of the cats in the café are up for adoption. According to Gothamist, 16 cats will roam the area and the food and drinks are free.
“The food part of the operation is very much separate from the bigger area where the cats are” they write.
“The café offers espresso and coffee drinks—if you get the cat’achino or latte, you’ll get kitty cat latte/foam art—and the pastries are pre-packaged off the premises”.
You can spy all of the lovely kitties on a live cam here. Hopefully we’ll see one in Ireland very soon.
