As much as we love these movies, it’s just not right to make your other half watch them… unless of course he makes you sit through The Expendables or something, in which case it’s fair game!
The Notebook
It’s the ultimate chick flick and it seems to haunt the entire male population, so much so that ‘notebooking’ is an actual term. This in itself should tell you that guys just don’t appreciate the charm of this film.
Magic Mike
Let’s face it, making your other half watch this film would be like him making you watch the Hugh Hefner film when (and if) it comes out. Not cool!
Dirty Dancing
When most girls are watching this film, they want to re-enact the dance scenes. When most guys are watching this film, they want the ground to swallow them up.
Bridesmaids
It might well be a comedy starring Chris O’Dowd but at the end of the day, it is about a wedding and the jokes are aimed at a female audience. Plus, they might think you’re trying to drop hints!
Sex and the City
Just because the title has sex in it doesn’t mean that guys are guaranteed to like it. In fact, it will just get their hopes up unnecessarily.
