A man in Australia sent a text to his 15-year-old son just an hour before he died with the words, “Are you still alive son?” it has been reported.
Jayden Morrisey was on holidays with friends of his family at a beach in Australia when he was hit by a lightning bolt.
According to the Daily Mail Australia, Jayden’s father Mark texted his son just an hour beforehand after he hadn’t heard from his son all day.
“I dropped him off Friday, stayed for a couple of hours with family friends and then kissed him goodbye,” Mark told the Daily Mail. “He had a great personality and made people laugh, he was forever on a wake board, a knee board coming into summer, he was in his awe.
“My family will never be the same, his three other brothers are a train wreck.”
