It was the news that nearly broke the internet on Tuesday evening as budget airline Ryanair announced some pretty big birthday celebrations.

The airline revealed that for the 30^th anniversary of its first flight they were launching a seat sale with 1 million seats going for the bargain price of €19.85.

Cue thousands of people across Ireland glued to their laptops at midnight on Tuesday night… and a lot of frustrated grumbling on Twitter when people couldn’t find what they were looking for.

But don’t worry, we’ve got it sussed for you.

First up, if you’re not too bothered about where you fly to, then look no further than Ryanair’s 30^th Anniversary Sale page, which puts the required travel dates – September 1^st to January 31^th – in for you.

From there, you need to move the price slider down from €250 to €20 and go about choosing your flight to whichever destination tickles your fancy.

Meanwhile, if you’re more particular about where you want to fly, then you need to head over to the ‘cheap flights’ section of the site.

There, pop in the set dates – September 1^st to January 31^st – and move the price down again. Simple!

Don’t worry, it’s been reported that the available routes are expected to change over the coming days.

The sale ends at midnight on Sunday.
