Fans across the world were left devastated when Family Guy creators decided to give Brian Griffin the chop recently, but there’s a chance that he may be back sooner than expected.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Brian is set to return to the FOX comedy in some shape or form on the December 15th episode.
However, it’s unclear as to how Brian, voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlene, will miraculously return from the dead.
Much to the annoyance of fans, Brian was quickly replaced by a new family dog called Vinnie, who’s a “pooch with attitude,” voiced by Tony Sirico, the actor who played Paulie Gaultieri in HBO’s The Sopranos.
The official episode summary for the December episode “Christmas Guy” reads; “Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas”.
