There have been a fair few changes to Facebook in recent months: GIFs as profile pictures, a separate app for messages and Candy crush finally took a break (YES).
However, the biggest transformation yet is on the way as the social media giant is preparing to introduce multiple news feeds.
Instead of getting all your news in one place, you’ll now be able to have several different feeds, depending on your personal interests.
So, if you’re into sport, you can see all the latest results straight away and if fashion is your thing, you can have a news feed purely based on style stories.
The news was revealed this week when Jason Stein, co-founder of Wind Ventures, tweeted about the new feature.

A spokesperson for Facebook later confirmed the news to The Verge: “People have told us they’d like new options to see and have conversations about more stories on Facebook around specific topics they’re interested in.
“So we are testing feeds for people to view different stories from people and Pages based on topic areas”.
Jason and social strategist Dan Doelling are both of the opinion that this change could mean Facebook will also introduce much more video content down the line.
@jasonwstein “We want to give everyone in the world the best personalized newspaper in the world.” Will be all video in no time. — Dan Doelling (@daniel_doelling) December 29, 2015
@daniel_doelling totally agree.

Oh and if that wasn’t enough change, METRO UK reports that the company is also set to test a new ‘Marketplace’ button which will allow people to purchase items in their newsfeeds.
There’s no news yet as to when the changes will come into effect but we’re definitely looking forward to the new features.
