If you’re anything like us, you spend most of your time scrolling through tons of posts on Facebook to get to the ones you actually want to see.
So, you’ll be delighted to hear that Facebook is making things a little bit easier by letting you personalise your news feed.
Users can now select which friends and Pages to see at the top of their News Feed so that when you log in, you’ll see any stories that your chosen few have shared since you last logged in.
“The goal of News Feed is to show you the stories that matter most to you. To do this, we use ranking to order stories based on how interesting we believe they are to you: specifically, whom you tend to interact with, and what kinds of content you tend to like and comment on.”
According to Wired, the new feature is available on iOS right now and will be coming to Android and desktop within a few weeks.
To prioritise your friends (or, um, your favourite website), click the down arrow at the right hand side of Facebook’s top bar where your notifications and friend requests are displayed and select News Feed Preferences.
