Excited about the iPhone 7’s release? You’ll change your mind after reading this

NOOOOOO.

Cathy Donohue

Seriously?!

Reports about the new iPhone have suggested the headphone jack is on the way out which proved a disappointment to many users and the latest development isn’t any better.

The rumour is that the newest model isn’t going to change much from the original which is rather annoying if you had been hoping for a new and exciting phone.

A French technology site, NoWhereElse, has obtained an image of what is purportedly the iPhone 7 and it is underwhelming, to say the least.

If the image accurately reflects the new device, then the antenna lines (necessary for connection to cellular networks) have moved from the back which does allow for a cleaner aesthetic.

This is about the only change that can be corroborated as from this picture, it’s impossible to tell if the headphone jack has in fact been binned.

There’s also suggestions that the camera on the back of the camera has become bigger and wider and the plus model of the new phone is apparently going to feature a dual camera, which will allow for improved photo quality.

Of course, this isn’t the first image appearing to show the iPhone and until Apple finally reveal the new model, you can expect to hear plenty more rumours about what the iPhone 7 will look liker.

However, it has been suggested by a number of sources that the 7 will be similar to the 6s, with next year’s iPhone 8 sporting a completely revamped design, complete with glass framework and an all-new display.

The iPhone 7 is reportedly due for release on 13th September and at this stage, we just want to see what’s Apple have planned.

However, with all the rumours floating around, don’t get too excited as it’s very likely that the 7 will be a repeat of the 6 and 6s, more or less.
