1. She texts your Mom when you don’t.
Your Mom text her first to find out where you were, but she always knows and she always lets your Mom know.
2. She organises your birthday party.
Secretly, she’ll make sure that everyone you love and adore will surprise you for your birthday, but she’ll also subtly forget the people you are not too friendly with.
3. She buys you little things she knows you will like.
“I saw this t-shirt and thought of you!” Of course, it’s perfect and you love it.
4. She makes mental notes to buy you things she knows you will like.
You thought she didn’t listen to you when you mentioned that you love that perfume, but she really made a mental note to come back to that when she needs to buy you a present.
5. She never criticizes you behind your back.
No, you are close enough now. She tells you everything you need to know to your face!
6. She checks out that new guy you’re dating.
She’s not quite sure, but there’s something she doesn’t quite like about him. Of course, she secretly starts stalking him on Facebook and Twitter. Just to make sure he is up to scratch.
7. She worries about you.
Yes, your Mom worries about you but you don’t tell her enough things to allow her to REALLY worry. You tell your best friend everything, and after you leave, she sits around worrying that you are alright. She KNEW it about that guy.
8. She misses you when you there is a joke you both would have got instantly.
There are certain shows you always watch together, and films, and when someone gives her the perfect opportunity for that reference, it’s not half as fun when you’re not there together.
9. She bigs you up when you are not around.
Well, you can be damn sure she will give out to your face, but she’s like a guard dog when you’re not around. What did you say about my best friend?
10. She is genuinely happy for you.
Not fake happy, she is genuinely happy.
11. She listens to everything, even when you think she’s not.
