If you think about, college is like one long list of big decisions. From picking the best modules, to deciding where to live, there is no end to dilemmas faced by students.
And when you’re out in the big bad world for the first time, making these choices can seem scary. Sometimes, however, it’s the simplest scenarios that lead to the toughest decisions.
Here are eight tricky choices college students face every day of the week.
1. Start that essay or watch the next episode on Netflix?
No brainer. Frank Underwood waits for nobody. And you’re not going to be the one left behind.
2. Get up ten minutes earlier and wash your hair, or reach for the dry shampoo?
Dry shampoo for the win.
3. Go to the gym after a lecture, or go home and watch Deal or No Deal?
You’ve got a deal with Noel and the banker. And you’re not going to break it.
4. Do laundry during the week or bring it all home to Mammy?
There’s no point even attempting to wash those clothes. Besides, she loves doing it.
5. Go to that 8am tutorial, or skip it for another week?
Nobody has anything intelligent to say that early in the day. Forget it.
6. Finish the assigned reading, or scroll through Instagram?
Those beautiful photos won’t like themselves.
7. Stay in or go out?
Really? Is that even a decision?
8. More coffee or go to sleep?
On those late nights when you’re typing against the clock, reach for the coffee. Because sometimes you’ve just got to power through and get it done.
