A Dutch woman called Daphne is looking for an Irish man by the name of Stephen.
But it’s not just any Stephen, it’s the Stephen who promised her a good night in a pub in Antwerp last week.
She sent an email to the bar, called Kelly’s, in the hope of finding her companion.
The letter reads: “We had a great visit to Antwerpen and your pub last week.
“I was promised a great night out in Antwerpen by our new Irish friend Stephen, a well know visitor to your pub.
“(and as you probably all know Dutch women never refuse a good night out).
“I wondered if you could pass my phonenumber or email to him, as I don’t think he will remember his promise… I thought a little reminder might help.
“Thanks again for a great eve and greeting from Holland [sic]”.
