Despite a campaign launched by the Licensed Vintners Association & Vintners Federation of Ireland, pubs and off-licenses will remain shut on Good Friday.
One Dublin pub isn’t taking the news lying down though and on Good Friday, their food menu will have a rather obvious theme.
The Bridge in Ballsbridge will serve culinary delights including Beef and Guinness Pie, Jack Daniels Ribs and Chicken in White Wine.
