When it comes to weddings, it can be tiring sitting through speech after speech, especially if you’re single or even worse, your glass is empty.
You’re dying to see the newlyweds have their first dance so you can leap on the floor and act the gobshite with your friends and family.
One couple who recently got married is Darren and Noelle O’Connor in Blessington.
Noelle’s sister Helena got in touch with us to share the hilarious dance Darren surprised his lovely wife Noelle with, dressed as none other than… Mr. Blobby.
Helena told us that Darren prepared his dance to ‘Get Ready For This’ with wedding band Smash Hits but we’re no sure whether it was their idea or Darren’s to dress as the 90s character from Noel’s House Party.
Posting the video to Facebook, Helena shared the emotions of the crowds when Darren emerged
“When you host the wedding of the year, with one of the best bands in the country, of course you have to surprise the bride with the best first dance EVER.
“I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much as I have these last few days! I’d like to introduce my sister and new brother in law.”
