A survey conducted by Airports Council International (ACI) regarding the quality of passenger service in Europe has named Dublin Airport number one.
Spotted on JOE.ie, the airport located in our capital city is number one ahead of 14 airports in the “Best Airport by Region in Europe”.
To conduct the survey, passengers are asked to give their opinion on their ‘travel experience’ in airports and this process is repeated a few times a year.
The results of these questionnaires are then pitted against other ACI affiliated airports of a similar size.
Speaking about the survey’s results, Vincent Harrison, Managing Director at Dublin Airport said that the ratings for Dublin Airport have improved dramatically in recent years.
“A few short years ago Dublin Airport was rock bottom in its peer group of airports surveyed in ACI’s service quality rankings.
“Since then we were determined to improve our customers’ experience of the airport and we have done that every year to get to this top spot.”
