This is a weather forecast we can definitely get on board with.
Donegal’s favourite postman and forecaster Michael Gallagher has this week claimed that we are in for a spell of good weather.
According to the amateur forecaster, August is set to be warm and balmy, thanks to a new moon which is falling on a Friday.
The Irish Mirror have reported that while Gallagher has predicted good weather for August, things will not be so good in September as the new moon falls on a Sunday which is, according to him, ‘not a good sign’.
Meanwhile, Met Éireann have a far gloomier outlook for the coming week, promising changeable and unsettled weather with a good scattering of showers.
Fantastic.
That pretty much sounds like business as normal then, right?
