A new study has revealed that almost half of women have suffered from ‘post-coital dysphoria’ (also known as the post-sex blues or PCD).
According to The Independent the survey, published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, found that 46% of female university students said they’ve experienced symptoms at least once in their lifetime.
Over 5% of those asked said they had experienced symptoms a few times within the past month with 10% experiencing them after sexual intercourse.

There was nothing to suggest a link between post-sex blues and intimacy or satisfaction.
Symptoms of PCD include tearfulness, anxiety, agitation, depression or aggression.
