Broadcasting duo Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore will take over Louise Duffy’s slot on the Today FM schedule from September, it has been confirmed.
It was announced last month that the pair would be leaving Dublin’s 98FM to join the national station and according to The Sun, they will present a new lunchtime show from 12pm to 2.30pm.
The slot is currently occupied by Louise Duffy, who took over from Keith Cunningham in April. It is unknown whether the shake-up will spell the end of Duffy’s tenure at the station or whether the presenter will be moved to an alternative show.
The duo previously spoke of their joy at the move, saying they were “delighted that we’ll still be able to do all the crazy stuff we do to a national audience”.
