Chances are you’ve heard of #DancingMan, a fantastic story that has gone viral over the last couple of days.
If you haven’t, here’s a quick recap.
Sean, the legend that is Dancing Man, was cruelly mocked by an anonymous 4Chan user who posted a picture of him with the message ““spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week. He stopped when he saw us laughing”.
The image soon cropped up on photo sharing site Imgur where Los Angeles based writer Cassandra Fairbanks noticed it.
She was outraged at this behaviour and decided to start an online campaign to track Sean down.
Cassandra found him and is now throwing him a serious party and if that wasn’t enough, Pharrell has asked if he can perform on the night.
Hey @CassandraRules keep me posted about your dance party! @Dancingmanfound, never be ashamed of yourself. You are both truly #OTHER

Sean is overwhelmed and delighted at all the support and has voiced his thanks with a tweet.
A fund set up to pay for his trip has raised $22,634, exceeding the original target of $20,000.
Just woke up to be greeted with so many more kind words. Big thanks again and am sure the charity will appreciate it as well. Thanks again
