See ya later.
If you were offered €17,000 to move abroad, would you?
What if it was to a secluded Swiss mountain village? For some, that would be a nightmare, but for others, it’s a total dream.
Well, a vote in the village of Albinen in the Valais region was passed on November 30, and it will mean paying people CHF25,000 (€17,000) to move there.

However, there are a few catches.
You must be under 45 years old, and sign up to live in Albinen for a minimum of 10 years.
You will also have to buy or build a house there with a minimum value of €170,000, and be a Swiss citizen or have a valid Swiss C permit.

However, if you think that you might get away with just spending time there during the holidays, your property must be your primary residence, and not a second home.
The village currently has 240 residents, and we have to say, it is a very beautiful place to live.
