Are you a fan of creeping on Facebook?
Checking up on the ex, seeing how that girl you went to college with pregnancy is going, trying to find that hot dinger of a guy you spotted at the latest house party?
Go on, we’ve all been there…
You mightn’t remember these Facebook creeping escapades (be it you were after a few too many or else you’ve just blocked them from your memory), but Facebook does.
Scary, we know.
The social network stores every single term you enter into the search box.
In case you feel a little uncomfortable with this information floating around, Mashable have compiled some simple instructions on how to delete your profile’s search history.
1. Click on the “Activity Log” button at the bottom right of your cover photo on your Facebook profile.
2. You will see your activity list which is a long list of all your posts, etc
3. Click on the “More” option on the left-hand menu.
4. Scroll down until you see “Search”
5. Here you can view your Facebook search history, in date order.
6. Click “Clear searches”
7. Okay the pop-up message that appears
Phew, it’s a whole different world in the back of Facebook…
