Helen Flanagan will join the ranks of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and become another celebrity to eat kangaroo and dive with creepy crawlies for our entertainment.
The actress hasn’t appeared on television since departing Coronation Street in February and she hopes that the appearance on the hit ITV show will catapult her back to being soap opera’s most desirable actress.
The new series of the show begins in November and according to The Daily Mail, an insider said: “Helen was one of our top picks, gorgeous, funny and she will be a real hit with viewers.”

Sources say that Helen is wary that her career has gone off track in recent months since she moved to Swansea with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair.
A close friend told the Daily Star: “The work she expected to roll in since February simply hasn’t and she’s worried the ambitions she had might now be wrecked.
The actress posted this photograph on her Twitter page earlier this week
“Helen decided to leave Corrie because she had had enough and wanted to move on.
“Even if Scott wasn’t on the scene, she would still have left – it had got to that point,” the source finished.

A spokesperson for ITV revealed that the show’s official line up will be revealed in due course.
