We are slowly but surely getting to know and love Conor McGregor’s unique brand of cocky humour.
When our JOE bros decided that his face should grace the €1 coin, he gladly got on board and tweeted the idea.

However, the lads at the Oireachtas were having none of it, and decided the proposed petition was inadmissable.
McGregor was not impressed, and eloquently responded “Well fuck you Deputy Stagg”.

Although it stands alone as a piece of comic genius, the comment actually refers to a little altercation a few years back when TD Paul Gogarty told Emmet Stagg to f*ck off in no uncertain terms.
The best part? Emmet Stagg wasn’t even there when the proposal was dismissed.
Evil genius.
