Icelandic band Sigur Rós are set to make a guest appearance on top TV show Game of Thrones.

According to EW, the band members Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, Georg Hólm, and Orri Páll Dýrason are currently shooting on location in Croatia.

Croatia is where the crew film for the fictional city of King’s Landing in the show.

The band also confirmed on their Facebook page that Goggi, Jónsi and Orri were going to be in season four.

Though Sigur Rós have been cast, it remains uncertain what role or music they’ll play in the upcoming season.

Will they be donning armor or guitars? Who knows, but the show creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss have been fans of the band for a longtime.

According to EW Benioff and Weiss would often listen to their music while shooting the HBO series in Iceland and not to mention, they already have a history of casting musical acts.

Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Will Champion from Coldplay have already made guest appearances in earlier seasons.

Bands The National and The Hold Steady have also featured in the show providing tunes to “The Rains of Castamere” and “The Bear and Maiden Fair.”

Game of Thrones returns to our TV screens in the spring.
