Funnyman Chris O’Dowd is to make his Broadway debut with James Franco.
The pair will be starring in a new stage version of John Steinbeck’s famous novella “Of Mice and Men.”
O’Dowd will play Lennie, a man with learning difficulties, alongside James Franco who’s also making his Broadway debut.
Franco will be playing Lennie’s friend George Milton.

“I am going to do Of Mice and Men with Chris O’Dowd, directed by this amazing director Anna Shapiro, who won a Tony for the stage version of August: Osage County,” Franco told talk show host Stephen Colbert.
No dates or venue have been confirmed for the production as of yet.
