Do you work in a law firm, the media or a corporate business? Well you might want to be wary because you could actually be surrounded by psychopaths.

A new book has revealed the top ten jobs for psychos and company CEOs are at the top of the pile according to the Irish Daily Mirror.

Surgeons, the clergy lawyers, sales people as well as those that work in the media, the police and top chefs also make it onto the list.

TV chef Gordon Ramsay is know for having a bit of a temper.

But it’s not like they are all knife-wielding, shower-disrupting psychos. They are defined by other traits including competitiveness and ruthlessness according to the book.

In other words, they thrive on having power, making decisions and destroying others in the workplace.

They are attracted to and flourish in positions that offer them these capabilities according to The Wisdom of Psychopaths: What Saints, Spies, and Serial Killers Can Teach Us About Success by Kevin Dutton.

But it’s not all bad news as there are some professions which they aren’t so keen on including charity work, accountancy, and beauty therapy.

Beauty therapist jobs aren’t attractive to psychopaths apparently.

Doctors and nurses are among those positions which require empathy therefore are not sought out by such people.

Phew, at least out health and our eyebrows are going to be taken care of by nice people!
