UPDATE: We’re happy to report that Rachel has been reunited with her rings!
A Dublin woman has appealed for help from the public after losing her wedding rings in a local park.
Rachel McCarthy married husband Will in 2013 after eight years together and had her wedding ring custom-made to fit her engagement ring.
The couple brought their 14-month-old daughter to Malahide Park yesterday but Rachel has since discovered that she lost both of the rings during the family outing and is understandably distraught.
“We brought our 14 month old daughter to the park yesterday. She loves the swings so we were down there for a while. She loves walking around all the trees and grass so we were in the field next to the park also. I’m gutted, can’t believe they are gone.”
Both rings are white gold and the engagement ring is square with four diamonds in it and diamonds along the band.
