Womaniser Calum Best has his eyes on the ball… and insists he will not be distracted by romance while he is in Ireland.
The reality television show favourite Calum Best, 31, has insisted he’s given the ladies a red card on Celebrity Bainisteoir, and the only scoring he wants done is on the pitch.
The serial womaniser hooked up with Georgia Salpa, 27, last year when he visited Ireland for TV3’S Celebrity Salon.
But this time around, the son of football legend George Best has promised himself that, even though he will be hanging out with single model Rozanna Purcell on the show, he will not get romantically involved during this trip to Ireland.
Calum told The Irish Sun; “I said the other day that Rozanna looks absolutely gorgeous. If I’m single and I can see she looks hot then I am not afraid to say it, but nothing is going to happen.
“I’m just so into this game, I really want to win it.”
Calum, who is managing the Mayo team Moy Davitts for the reality show, got some tips last week as he watched Mayo beat Dublin in the All-Ireland semi-final.
The ladies’ man, who has previously been linked with Grils Aloud’s Sarah Harding, actress Lindsay Lohan and model Caprice, was pictured at the game with Hazel O’Sullivan, 23.
But he insisted Hazel is just a good friend of his and nothing is going on.
“Nothing going on there, I’m single,” he insisted.
Despite his enthusiasm for the competition, at least Best was honest enough to sat he was actually clueless about the GAA.
“I’d briefly seen some games but I didn’t know what it was about. I had no clue about the rules. There’s great camaraderie with the team and I like the fact that I don’t have to do any running, just yelling. They’ve made me feel so welcome.”
Well, we’ll see just how long your promise lasts Calum! The bets in the office are down already…
Tomorrow’s episode will see Calum’s team take on Clontarf’s Scoil Uí Chonaill, managed by My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy O’Doherty.
Tune in on RTÉ One at 6:30pm for the second episode of Celebrity Bainisteoir: The Rivals tomorrow.
