The annual Dublin Horse Show is underway and with it brought one special guest.

From equestrian enthusiasts to women dressed their best, the Dublin Horse Show attracts all sorts of people. But there are always a few extra special guests at the South Dublin show and this year saw host to one of the biggest musicians.

None other than Bruce Springsteen turned up at the event yesterday. He was there to support his daughter Jessica who was competing in the competition for the USA showjumping team.

Speaking to The Sun he said, “It’s wonderful to be back in Dublin and I love watching Jessica. I’m just her for a few days.”

It’s not the first time he’s attended the show, having cheered on his daughter in 2014 as well.

Yesterday was Ladies’ Day at the event which sees women flock from all over the country dressed in their finest clothes in a bid to the prize of €10,000 to spend in Dundrum Town Centre. The winner on the day was Claire Murphy from Tipperary who wore a cream caped dress and a green hat.
