Singer Bressie has signed the dotted line and is a definite for the next season of the Irish hit reality talent show, ‘The Voice’.
But the Mullingar man still isn’t sure if he’ll be joined by the other first season judges, Brian Kennedy, Kian Egan and Sharon Corr.
The 31-year-old also warned people who want to audition for the show to be “well-prepared”.
He told the Irish Daily Mirror; “The Voice was a great experience for me the first time so there was no reason not to do it again.
“Everything went well and the producers took it easy on me because it was my first TV job.
“Now I am more experienced on what is required for it.
“I am still looking for the same kind of singer, a really good pop singer.
“If you come into the blind auditions just going through the motions it’s just not going to get past us.
“We’ve been doing this for a while now and whatever song you pick, make sure you choose it for the right reasons and can deliver it with some form of attachment.
“People might think they can fool us but they can’t.”
Bressie was the winning judge last year as his act Pat Byrne scooped top prize.
Pat is now putting the finishing touches to his record with Universal Ireland which will be released in October.
The record is set to be released in the UK as well.
“I wrote on Pat’s album but I didn’t produce it, I just didn’t have the time,” Bressie said.
“I haven’t heard the finished product but from what I am being told it is a very strong record.”
At the moment, applications are open for the new series of the show which will return to our screens in February.
Anyone who wants to enter can do so up to September 3rd.
Bressie said he hopes his fellow judges will return to the chairs beside him for the upcoming season.
“I have no idea if the others are coming back, it was hard enough for me to get everything together.
“I hope they do come back as we are comfortable with each other now.”
Bressie is also working on his own album, which he hopes to release next year.
