Just when we thought we couldn’t love man’s best friend anymore…

A black labrador has captured the hearts of bus-goers in Belltown, Seattle, after becoming accustomed to riding the bus alone.

The two-year-old dog shocked commuters when she boarded the bus and got off at a dog park a few stops across town.

Commuter Tiona Rainwater told reporters: “All the bus drivers know her. She sits here just like a person does”.

“She makes everybody happy. How could you not love this thing?”

Eclipse’s owner Jeff Young discovered that his four-legged friend didn’t need him after a cigarette stop took a little longer than expected and the dog hopped on the bus on her own.

“We get separated. She gets on the bus without me, and I catch up with her at the dog park,” Young said.

“It’s not hard to get on. She gets on in front of her house and she gets off at the dog park, three or four stops later.”

“She’s been here the last two years, so she’s been urbanised, totally. She’s a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog,” he added.
