Unless the weather forecast dramatically changes between now and Christmas morning, we won’t be waking up to fields of white or making snowmen in the afternoon.
According to Met Éireann, tomorrow is going to be cold but mainly dry with sunny spells.
There will be some scattered showers across the country with a possibility of hail showers in the north.
Top temperatures are expect to be around 5 to 9 degrees Celsius so it will be quite chilly.
As the day progresses, frost and icy patches will form (which means motorists need to be extra careful).
This frost is expected to clear overnight with St Stephen’s Day seeing a mixture of sunshine and rain.
