We imagine poor old Louis Walsh isn’t having a great day after a controversial decision made him the subject of many of today’s headlines.
However, a little bit of public backlash is not all Lou-Lou has to worry about as Ladbrokes have started taking bets on when Simon Cowell will issue his old friend the dreaded P45.
Although reports suggested that Simon was keen on getting viewers up in anyway possible, the controversial move has slashed Louis’ odds of being sacked before Christmas to 10/1.
The bookmakers are also taking bets on whether Louis will be reinstated to the judging panel next year with punters taking the gamble at 8/11 odds.

Carolynne and Rylan were in the bottom two last night
Gary Barlow was extremely angry last night when Louis did not save his act Carolynne, but instead pushed the decision to deadlock, allowing the public vote to decide the contestants’ fate.
The Take That frontman later stormed off stage in fury, but a photograph later revealed that Louie was speaking to a producer before the nail-biting decision was made.
Ladbrokes are taking bets on whether or not Gary will speak to Louis directly next week and the odds lay at 6/1.
Meanwhile, Ella Henderson has quickly become the bookie’s favourite after her rendition of Take That’s Rule The World.

Louie was seen speaking to a producer before the deadlock decision
Hayley O’Connor of Ladbrokes said: “Louis is the longest standing judge on the show but his credibility has seriously come under fire and he’s now odds-on to be exiled from X Factor next year.”
She added: “Although he’s been the cause of controversy, Rylan might just last longer than expected and we’ve made District 3 a shorter price to get the boot before he does.”
Whether or not the decision was a fix, we think Simon Cowell will be delighted that everyone is talking about X Factor once again.
Although Louis sent it to deadlock, wasn’t it ultimately the public who put her in the bottom two? We’d be very sad to see Lou-Lou hit the road.
Do you think he should be sacked?
