A man from Sydney is offering his ex-girlfriend’s engagement ring to a deserving couple. He said that after a lot of contemplating he decided it would be, “better off in someone else’s hands, rather than sitting in my cupboard all alone.”
He posted picture of the ring to Reddit saying,
“I have decided to give away my old engagement ring. I have only heard horror stories of people trying to sell their rings and being insulted with sub-par offers from pawn shops, jewellers etc. and thought I would attempt to pass it on to a deserving couple.”
Pre-empting any doubts about the validity of his claims, he stated, “I am serious! This is not a ploy or a fake. It’s a nice ring and I wish for it to bring happiness and joy.”
Since posting it, loads of people have been sharing personal stories below his post in the hopes he will pick them to receive the ring. He has yet to pick someone but has stated that he wants proof that you are a couple.
