Two police men in Portland went out of their way to help a pizza delivery guy this week, much to the amazement and delight of an American family.
Police officers Michael Filbert and Royce Curtiss completed a pizza delivery for the unfortunate driver after he was hurt in a crash in Portland.
The Huckins family were extremely worried when the officers showed up outside their door, but this anxiety quickly turned to amazement when they realized that the police men were merely delivering their pizza order!
“They turned around to leave, and I said, ‘whoa, whoa, whoa – I got to get a picture of this,” explained customer, Steve Huckins. “No one is going to believe Portland police delivering pizza, so that’s the picture everyone saw!”
The delivery driver hurt his back and neck in the collision but is now doing ok.
