Despite being on two talent shows that involved her criticising peoples’ performances, Alesha Dixon has admitted that she finds it hard to say no and tell contestants the truth.
The singer turned television judge swapped her score paddle on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing for a huge red buzzer on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent but still finds it difficult to be honest with those who are auditioning.

Alesha joined the Britain’s Got Talent panel earlier this year.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz about her first series on the judging panel of the popular talent show, Alesha said: ‘I found it hard saying no sometimes, but I tried to be true to how I felt.
‘If I thought there was someone who wasn’t good enough, then… well, you don’t want to upset people, but I know that feeling, being 18 and trying to get your break.’
As true, and lovely, as that might be we’re not too sure we’d be as sympathetic towards a man wearing a saucepan on his head and pretending to be a Dalek out of Doctor Who.
