Aer Lingus has launched a direct service to LA and we are giddy.
The new route is part of a transatlantic expansion for the airline with new routes to Newark, New Jersey and Hartford Connecticut rolled out for September 2016.
However, the LA service launches in just seven days and it is expected to include five flights per week.
