A New Album And Sold-Out Tour Dates All Over Europe: 2015 Is Set To Be A Very Good Year For Sigma

A very successful duo

Her

Sigma, aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, had a mammoth 2014 with two smash hit No. 1 singles and over 1.75 million singles sold worldwide.

With two BRIT nominations and two headline slots at Ministry of Sound under their belt, and an eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Life’ due out in July, 2015 is set to be another fantastic year for Sigma.

Last spring they shot to the top of the singles chart with Nobody To Love, a drum-and-bass-fueled reworking of Kanye West‘s Bound 2.

The remix, which has been filling dance floors around the world since its release, saw the pair catapulted to international fame and success.

The talented UK duo quickly followed this up with ‘Changing’ ft. Paloma Faith, another #1 smash hit in summer 2014. The collaboration also marked the first time Paloma reached the number one spot.

Their latest release, ‘Higher,’ ft. Labrinth is Sigma’s third top 40 UK hit, peaking at number 12 in the charts. It’s another bonafide drum and base anthem with an impressive soulful vocal performance from Labrinth.

Where did it all start? Lenzie and Edwards met in 2006 at Leeds University before relocating to London. Now signed with 3 Beat Records, Sigma have worked with everyone from Ellie Goulding to Groove Armada and produced hits with independent record label, Hospital Records.

Irish fans can next enjoy their sound at this year’s Sea Sessions Surf & Music Festival which takes place on the shores of Bundoran from 19 – 21 June. It promises to be an awesome set.

Tickets for the Sea Sessions are available from www.seasessions.com, www.ticketmaster.ie and all Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
