If you’ve been following the third series of RTE’s gangland drama Love/Hate than chances are you’ve been wondering what’s going on with Lizzie and Darren – are they going to get it together? Is he interested in her? Who knows!
But we can reveal that Caoilfhionn Dunne, the actress who plays Lizzie, has revealed that she has no issues filming raunchy sex scenes for the shocking programme.
Caoilfhionn has refused to give any details about any possible love scenes she might be filming with the gorgeous Robert Sheehan (Darren), however she has said that she has total faith in Stuart Carolan, the show’s award-winning writer.
“You trust Stuart, you know he’s done his research. He doesn’t write anything for the sake of it. The big one for Lizzie so far is she was there for the shooting,” said Caoilfhionn.
“Everyone who works there is so lovely and so good at their job. You know everything is being done for the right reasons,” she added.

And Caoilfhionn was quick to defend Love/Hate against claims that it is a programme which glamorises gangland violence.
“This is happening, this is truthful. Let’s be honest about it and maybe we can start a discussion about it. Stuart does not write for shock value. He’s not pulling this stuff out of the top of his head, it’s there,” said Caoilfhionn.
“I think it would be a disservice to him and his audience to just take it so far out of fear of upsetting people,” she added.
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be glued to our screens to see what happens on the next episode tomorrow night. Do you think Darren will start returning Lizzie’s (very obvious) affections?
