It’s one of the most anticipated movies of 2013 and last night Les Misérables had its Irish premiere.
Her.ie was lucky enough to head along, along with some lucky readers who won tickets right here.
We loved it, and may have cried a river. One particularly emotional moment was when Samantha Barks as Eponine took on one of the musical’s most beloved songs. She was outstanding – but was she anything on 90’s TV heroine Joey Potter?!
We’ll come clean – it was just a perfect excuse to root out this clip of what was must-see television at the time, and a million teenage girls felt their heart break alongside Joey’s, which might explain why it sounding amazing to us at the time.
Now… not so much.
