We can’t imagine how difficult it must be to be a teenager dealing with cystic fibrosis. Add to that countless days in hospital and feeling shut off from your friends and family, and it could be pretty hard to stay positive.
Claire Wineland wanted to do something different though – and put together a video refusing to let her illness dampen her spirit.
In her video, Perks Of Going To The Hospital, Claire gives a rundown on all the ‘great’ things you get from visiting a hospital, naming 24/7 room service, unlimited snacks, cable, WiFi and the chance to wear sweatpants all day, every day amongst the others.
Claire also has a Facebook group The Clarity Project, where she tries to “break down the barriers that we tend to have with people who are living with an illness by discovering what you’re curious about and opening up my life to you.”
This girl is amazing. And quite entertaining too!
