They may well be small but according to new research, grapes are the key to a healthy diet and lifestyle.
A new study, presented at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Nutrition Conference and Exposition in America, found that the fruit doesn’t just provide you with necessary vitamins but it prevents you from eating things that aren’t good for you as well.
Carla McGill, who fronted the investigation, said of the findings: “Grape consumers have increased intakes of healthy foods, critical vitamins and minerals.
“They also ate less of the unhealthy foods, specifically solid fat and added sugars,” she added according to The Sun.
But sadly for wine drinkers the grapes have to be consumed in their pure, non-alcoholic form in order for the person to benefit.
