Our body carries more toxins around wedged in our digestive track than you’d care to think about…
These can result in the body’s inability to metabolise food properly or to provide vital energy for everyday living.
As icky as it may sound, we need to keep our colons clear. This will prevent any of the everyday issues like bloating, constipation, gas, fatigue, food cravings and allergies that you may suffer from. Time to fix it.
We’re not talking about dodgy pipes or body insertions we feel queasy about. We have some tips right here for you to feel digestion healthy the natural way…
Full Of Fibre
A diet high in fibre is great to slow the emptying time of the stomach and move faeces through the intestines quicker. You can add fibre foods into each meal like having oatmeal for breakfast or a big stir-fry vegetable bowl at dinner. You could always take a fibre supplement if you feel the need to.
Keep Hydrated
We tend to forget the powers of pure water. It is essential to drink 8-10 glasses of water each day. If you feel “backed up” in the morning, drink 3 glasses of water before breakfast to really get things flushed out quickly.
Quit
There has to be a bit of give and take. Eliminate all foods that could contribute to any digestion problems you may have. These include processed foods, sugar, white flour, alcohol, caffeine, food additives, most dairy… You cannot be eliminating everything from your diet so keep a note of what you eat and when you feel your problems arise, you’ll figure it out in no time and, if you can’t, be sure to speak to a doctor about it.
Get Up And About
Exercise speeds up bowel action, believe it or not. Take a quick walk or do a few exercises at home and get your bowels back in action again!
