As part of the Life Style Sports #GirlsRunTheWorld campaign, Michelle McMahon, Editor of Her.ie and Sue Murphy, TV&Film Editor, were challenged to run a 10k race after 12 weeks of training.
For Week 7 of the campaign, Michelle was flying solo as Sue enjoyed some long-awaited holidays. Michelle went along to Herbert Park in Sandymount with trainer Peter Kern from PB3 Coaching.
This week was not Michelle’s finest. She’s been struggling to get back up to speed since her holidays and her 5k race, with a niggling left calf/foot pain that just won’t quit. Training was very quiet without Sue too, so Michelle is delighted to see her back this week… and we think secretly Peter is too!
The girls will both be keep you updated on their individual weeks through their blog. Check out the video to see their progress!
